is quite astonishing to think how quickly the Internet has become a vehicle
for goods and services, a great deal of which is free or 'nearly free'!
There are a lot of freebies on offer and we've tried to fit as many of
them as possible into these pages. We do not guarantee that
all these offers are available, or indeed legitimate. You must use your
own judgement because, of course, there are fraudsters out there as  everywhere
else and so you are advised to be careful. 'Freebies' can take many
forms and we have included in these pages a lot of 'stuff' which though
not free is likely to be of interest. Here are some avenues of approach:
EARNING CASH - You can earn cash by testing products, answering surveys, reading reports, or reading e-mail, or even by just surfing . You won't make a fortune but it is possible to make a worthwhile income. EARNING COMMISSIONS - You can earn even more as a commission agent by joining affiliate programmes - these are particularly widespread in the U.S.A. - or even selling direct from your own website! WINNING CASH - Yes, there are some gambling sites where you can win real money without betting any! You can also play games free that pay off in real cash if you win! ENTERING CONTESTS - These are mostly where you enter prize draws and it's a matter of odds and luck as to whether you actually win the cash. We only have direct links to the more-or-less 'permanent' sites. Check the links under 'Free Stuff' for the frequently changing contests. Unless otherwise noted all are cash prizes as opposed to goods. POINTS MAKE PRIZES - Points work something like collecting UPCs or soda caps and redeeming them for merchandise. You set up an account with a company then collect points until you have enough for CDs, books, stereos, groceries, cameras, a vacation, etc. You can earn points by reading e-mail, answering surveys, evaluating sites, shopping, and just plain surfing. GETTING THE FREE STUFF - Samples, promos, and demos. These change too fast for us to keep up with so we are only providing links to "Free Stuff" pages that keep up to date. GETTING 'FREE STUFF' - We wanted to show you some of the free stuff you can get on the Internet. However, one word of warning - when you sign up to receive 'free' items, there is usually a price of some sort to be paid. Listed below are some considerations:
Make sure you find out how much any 'shipping and handling' is. Think carefully before responding to a 'you have been selected to receive a prize' type of message. There is often a catch. Be sure to read the 'Terms and Conditions' if there is one. You will have to give them your email address so be sure to read their privacy statement - they may sell your email address to other Internet sites and you could then be spammed until the end of time. Make sure before you 'submit' your email address that you have unchecked all the small boxes in other advertisements they have on the same page - if you don't, you have agreed to receive email from all the ones checked. Never give a credit card number if you are suppose to be receiving something for free, unless you're paying for shipping and handling. When giving credit card information, make sure you are giving it to a 'secure' site. Never give out your social security number to anyone.
