America

Latest
anti-terrorist initiatives now underway
Governor Ridge has formally launched
the regime's 'Operation Mandatory Patriotic Tattoo' - the Office of Homeland
Security's latest brilliant initiative in its relentless fight against
terrorism. Be the first in your neighbourhood with this exciting and innovative
all-all-American tattoo! Incorporates imbedded ID and satellite-trackable
global positioning - enabling you to rest easy knowing that your goverment
will always know where you are and what you are up to. In a complementary
move, San Francisco Public Library is leading the way by placing tiny radio
frequency identification chips (known as RFIDs) into the roughly 2 million
books patrons can borrow. This will enable you to be located and tracked
by the books that you carry. Other libraries are expected to follow suit.
Oh, isn't it truly wonderful to be American in these exciting times?

Pentagon
gives new meaning to 'Friendly Fire'
The all-American Pentagon, in
its endless quest to make the Great Commander look good, is spending millions
on developing an unleaded 'green' bullet. Their marines will still kill
you stone-dead but be assured that they will do it in a very environmentally-friendly
way. Such humanity. - from Richard Stott (Sunday Mirror, 7th September
2003).
How
to be Interesting and other Life Skills
Parties and other social functions
can really be a drag sometimes. You stand by the punchbowl or sit down
on a sofa and watch everybody else mingling, but nobody seems to want to
chat with you. You're attractive, witty, and interesting; what's wrong?

The
'Money Forever' Guys
If you download music and other
so-called 'intellectual property' from the Net you may already know that
the Recording Artists Association is set to crack down on you for 'stealing'
their 'property'. But the whole concept of intellectual property is crazy
and O.T.T. Same kind of thing happens with forever-repeats of T.V. shows.
If you or I do a job of work we expect to get paid for it - but only once.
But these greed guys have a neat little income streaming in - everlastingly
- they get paid over and over again for the same job. (Dezi Arnaz - you've
got a lot to answer for!)
The
Real Cost of War
"Every gun that is made, every
warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies in the final sense a theft
from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed."
- President Dwight D. Eisenhower, April 16, 1953. War affects everyone,
not just those directly involved. This interactive webpage is a simple
yet ingenious attempt to demonstrate one of the more quantifiable effects
of war: the financial burden, on a state-by-state basis and on an all-U.S.
basis.
Gun-Crazy
Aussie builds Crazy Gun for all-American Crazies
Imagine a gun that fires a million
rounds a minute - enough to shred a target in a blink of an eye, or throw
up a defensive wall against an incoming missile. This is 'Metal Storm',
a weapons system that forsakes old-style mechanics for the speed of electronics,
reports CNN's Geoff Hiscock (Friday, June 27th 2003). Needless to say,
the very all-American Pentagon is very, very, interested.

About
Aggression and that all-American Pompous Fool
What is it about some people
- men, women, and children - that makes them so AGGRESSIVE? And why do
they so often REVEL in their aggression?? The prime example coming to mind
right now is that smirking, strutting, puffed-up, president-by-default
George W. Bush. God bless America and all who sail in her - but hold back
on that nazification process, you guys. And, guys, let's remember that
nothing is forever - not the German Reich, not the U.S.S.R. and not even
the U.S. of A. 'And this also shall come to pass . . . mighty empires have
fallen and shall yet fall and pridefulness cometh before the fall.'
