1. What is Linx? Linx is a network for webmasters to exchange links with other webmasters. It's easy to put 50,000 of your own ads on your own site, but there is much more value if you put your ad 50 times on 1,000 sites! By placing the Linx Directory on your site (you can customize it to fit in with your usual 'house style') you will display ads from other exchange members and in return your own ads will be displayed across the entire Linx network. This is a free service designed to help you advertise and promote your website because advertising online like this will bring more visitors and quality leads to your website. 2. How much does this cost? It's 100% free. 3. Do I need to have my own website to use Linx? Yes, you do. You must be able to show the Linx Directory on your site. If you don't already have a website you could get your own free website at Easyhost
All you need do is add some simple code into your web page and the Linx Directory will automatically show up on that page. Just insert the following simple code into your page and upload your page. When members browse to that page the Linx Directory - including your ads - will be shown there and will be automatically updated. 5. What happens then? You can 'tailor' or customise your page in keeping with your usual 'house style' as the page created by the above code will re-shape itself to fit in seamlessly with your existing style, see this customized example. As soon as you have got your Linx Directory running you can add your link and confirm details of your site here submit your site , When this is done and your link approved your own link will come in at the top of the directory and be seen by numerous sites. 6. What if my own link does not appear? We always try to process new applications within 48 hours. If it takes longer than that and you do not hear from us it can be one of several reasons. Your website may not qualify for the Linx Directory due to: 1. Inappropriate material published e.g. porn or perv sites. We choose completely at our own discretion who may, and may not, be accepted as a Linx partner). 2. Your website does not yet have the Linx Directory in place. |
